Norderney is my second home – I know the island, its light and its quiet corners. Just as gladly I accompany you along the rest of the North Sea, for example at the beach in Schillig – or further afield: among olive branches in Italy and Greece, or at a finca on Mallorca.
Italy is more than a backdrop to me. As a child I spent many summers at Lake Garda with my parents – and I carry that connection into every shoot to this day. The warm light, the lightness, long tables under olive trees: a wedding in Italy has a feeling you can't stage.
